Winning at Trial

In the past two years alone, we have won victories in three federal trials and two North Carolina state murder trials. We have successfully resolved dozens of other cases with successful outcomes for clients in cases in Wake County, and throughout North Carolina, involving guilty pleas, deferred prosecution agreements, and dismissals.

Toughest Cases

We take on the most serious cases. Murders, drug conspiracies, sex offenses, child pornography and similar charges. State and federal cases where our clients depend upon us to achieve outstanding results to save their freedom, their careers, and their reputations.

Murders

Our results speak for themselves: In December 2019, a jury voted 10-2 for acquittal in a 2017 case involving a killing at Club Bodi in downtown Raleigh. In September 2019, we resolved two cases - one with probation and another with 92 months - that had started out as first degree murder cases.

In March 2019, along with co-counsel, we helped save a man's life where the Wake County District Attorney sought the death penalty.

Drug Conspiracies

In September 2020, we won three gun charges in a drug conspiracy trial in federal court, thereby saving our client an additional 5-year mandatory sentence.

Cases involve large drug trafficking conspiracies involving international cartels, to minor possession cases. We have achieved "safety valve" and other reductions that have helped our clients return to their families.

Child Pornography

Our background in computer technologies - including peer-to-peer sharing technologies and various internet protocols - mean that we are able to respond to the technical evidence in child pornography cases.

When contacted early, we can sometimes resolve these cases without prosecution. In other cases, we use a fully array of experts to help our clients achieve outstanding results.
